allright dad
Good bye Australia
Thank you to everyone who I have met on my travels and who has made Australia such a memorable journey for me. Especially Dessie and Fran, I love you both with all my heart.
And a huge, enormous, gigantic thank you to Bo. Who made the east coast of australia a very special place to me forever. You have been (and hopefully allways will be, my darling) kind, patient, loving and some what understanding at all times. And man, we have had some laughs :) Look forward to being in your life more.
Yeah safe man, you ok?
Just calling to ensure you got back in
Hope you coped yesterday, cos I felt well damn grim
But yeah in the air on the plane my stomach was turning
Man I was hanging
head-to-sted on the headrest in pain
Prayed away all my bad sins
Lost count of the plain chardonnays before the fourth or maybe the fifth
In future I need to abstain
If only id had a bit of discipline
But worth every bit of spare change
Pure clowning down to the last drink
(Hang on let me slam the door mate; just pause that thought for a bit)
Why did I have to go and do a stupid thing like that
Coz yeah it felt like we were through though
But I could've ruined it, I'm such a twat
I've been pacing the place well paralysed since I got back in with my bags though
Yeah I'm too aware that last night was way mad slack
I know
Carried in a gang I lost sight of Simone
On her own back at home
Distracted from the fact it weren't right
could have raised up the hand but no
Simone was moaning and that about me playing away on this holiday
She was watching the box at her dad's house
there, preparing spliffs away
As I'm smacking glasses down at George Bests best session rate
(Can you hear me? Na sorry mate your fuzzy mate I can't hear ya)
Why did I have to go and do a stupid thing like that
Coz yeah it felt like we were through though
But I could've ruined it, I'm such a twat
(I lost you for a minute yeah yeah I can hear you now)
See I mean that the true thing though I suppose I chose myself to allow
I was weak and stupid but as far as I viewed anyhow
She couldn't have been it for me, the only girl id ever go out with
I didn't want to waste my youth in a girl's house to the sound of spliffs
And when she got in a mood with me in that text about that thing
I just switched off the phone when she started shouting
Coming to a conclusion I couldn't be bothered with anymore rowing
Why did I have to go and do a stupid thing like that
Coz yeah it felt like we were through though
But I could've ruined it, I'm such a twat
(Nah nah nah)
And then after shots made me lose the plot
It all got a bit bizarre
And that incident with the ice cream I forgot, it all ended in our vodka
What I can remembers a blotch
I got a fat bruise on my arm
She weren't even much too hot but she totally mugged me up like rah
She knew exactly what she was doing and it all went a bit too far
She was with that bloke in the white top in McDonalds car park
And then she let me chat her up later on in that lovely little bar
(Hello? Ahh fucking phones man)
Why did I have to go and do a stupid thing like that
Coz yeah it felt like we were through though
But I could've ruined it, I'm such a twat
(Yeah I think we got cut off, yeah I got crap reception in my house.
I have to stand in a certain spot in my kitchen or it cuts out)
Yeah you know I was potty to even let myself allow it
I would if I could just swap what happened then for right now
And if she ever found out how far it got it would be more than just a row
This whole thing just got on top but its her that I want, no doubt
So in a way its helped me doing wrong
I know I've fucked up now
This is where that dodgy shit stops
She's just gotta not find out
Why did I have to go and do a stupid thing like that
Coz yeah it felt like we were through though
But I could've ruined it, I'm such a twat
Why did I have to go and do a stupid thing like that
Coz yeah it felt like we were through though
But I could've ruined it, I'm such a twat
;)
Sydney!
Just thought I would put some pics up of the blue mountains and sydney:
Thailand on thursday woppiiiiiiidooo!
Flying fox backpackers :)
Hope everyone is good :) We are still working at the backpackers here in Blue Mountains. It's really great. We work in the mornings and every other day we go for a hike in the mountains. We take some beautiful pictures so I hope we can put them up on the blog when we get to sydney. I would love to stay here longer but we allso want to see sydney and then I am leaving on the 8th.
I cant belivie I have allready been in Australia for eight months, it's so weird. I have changed so much and my life has changed so much since I left! It's the strangest thing that I am going home with Bo. A guy I haden't met for eleven years and then just randomly started talking to again on facebook here in australia, even though we have been living within an hours distance from each other all these years! Life is funny.
But I have definetley got the travel bug now. There is so many places and countries I want to see. Next on the agenda is America and possibly south america. So look out for a fiegoestothestates.blogg.se blog coming up next winter!
Anyway take care all and I will write soon :)
Kangaroo valley - Wollongong- Blue Mountains
Kangaroo Valley:
So we left Karoonda, I was a little bit sad about it but we did because we are here to see more of australia. Allso the thing with karoonda was that we would work between 8-10 hours a day. Wich is not really the deal when you are wwoofing. But we had an awesome time there.
Anyways so we started emailaing with a woman in a place called Kangaroo valley and she was so keen and she seemed really nice. Both me and Bo were thinking that we would be working a lot less at her house than we had at karoonda. Well, haha, we were very wrong. Allthough we only worked five hours a day I can easily say it was the hardest I have ever worked in my life. And for such an ungratefull person aswell. She was so rude it was crazy.
The only thing she liked in life was her golden retreever dog, a puppy that was so incredibly spoilt that it even put me off. She would constantly be shouting at that bloody dog, whos name by the way was olivia, so imagine a very high pitched voice screaming "LIIVIII, LIVILIVILIVI" (ALL THE BLOODY TIME!) "LIVILOOOOVE" But kangaroo valley in itself was an interesting place I must admit. And the woman did have a nice swimming pool.
Wollongong:
So we left crazy lady and went on to wollongong wich was an hours train ride from Kangaroo v. At that stage both me and Bo were both mentally and physically drained and on the train we were both parying that the next place would be better then the last. And it was :) Apart from the snakes. Poisonous snakes every bloody where in the backyard where we were working. When the guy we were working for said at the beginning that "Oh there might be some snakes around, deadly and so on so watch your step" I didn't really take any notice because I had allready realised that the guy would be talking a lot in general and yeah well I was stupid. A couple of hours later, down by the little creek thing, bo says to me "What is that in the water sophie? Is it an insect or something? Why are the ducks following it?" So I walk up to the creek and look as the snake emerges from the water and it was horrible. I screamed "SNAKE, SNAKE, SNAKE, SNAKE!" and then I ran. Oh yeah, and then I walk up to the guy we are working for and ask him: "There was a black snake just over there, are they dangerous?" and he replies "Well no, or like, a bite would kill you .. But yeah.."
Another time we found a snake in a log that was 1.5 meters long, a red belly black snake.. deadly of course. In a log, just by the house. I know for a fact that i stood on that log, and Bo claims that he has been sitting on it. Scary.
But my favourite part of living in wollongong was the first morning. The guy we were working for had two horses, one very old and one very young. The young horse was really restless and had a look on its face like "yeah im bad" haha. So, peter, our boss, shows us our house and says "please make sure the horse does not walk up on the veranda of the house, there is a big water tank under the veranda and if the horse goes thorugh there she is dead meat".
So the next morning, I can clearley hear the horse just when I wake up, and I think to myself "I better move that horse if she is on the veranda" So I get up, and we were sleeping on the second floor (sort of like a loft) so I quickly glance down on to the first floor from above, still not very awake at all, and there is a horse, standing in the livingroom. Just standing there. In the livingroom. "Bo, the horse is in the house" I say very quietly not to scare the horse, "what the fuck are you talking about?" he replies dreamiley. "well I am only telling you what I can see, the horse is standing in the livingroom". So I go down and just stand there, looking at her, and she sees me and just walks out, thrugh the door that she some how has pushed open. She didn't damage anything at all in the house wich is a miracle.
That was really, really the weirdest thing that I have seen in my life.
Blue mountains
So now we are in the blue mountains, a tourist place about two hours from sydney. We are working in a backpackers, cleaning rooms and so on. It is a really nice backpackers, so relaxed and pretty. So thats nice. We will stay here for a week and then go back to sydney, cause we had to go there from wollongong, and then I am off to thailand wich concludes my trip down under. Feels a bit strange.
So that is a few funny stories about our life at present :)
Be well.
Good bye Karoonda park (kooranda)
Moving on :)
Otherwise, not a lot is new. This past week has been really slow here. I dont know why. Just doing random jobs and trying to make the most of the days. Today we went on the "flying fox" and took some great pics so I can put those up one day on the blog. We took some pics the other day of our everyday life here but I never get round to putting them in the computer. We are expected to work quite a lot here so in the evenings I am pretty tired and I just can't be bothered doing it.
So, really looking forward to sydney! It's gonna be so much fun!
take care all.
The life of a farmer ..
So a couple of weeks ago, we went wildcaving. That is when we (us wwoofers) were first introduced to Figsy, our guide during the day of caving. Let me tell you, he is absolutley barking mad.
Buchan is the nearest town to where our farm is. It's basicly a petrol station, and a hotel. But Buchan is allso famous for it's caves. Loads of caves in Buchan.
So when we first started talking about going to see the caves, the plan was to walk uppright through the caves like every other normal humanbeing and just take some nice pictures and then have a relaxing afternoon in Buchan. But then this Figsy decided to take us through what they refer to as a wildcave, a cave where there are no lights at all, and the only way of getting through the cave is to squeeze yourself through ridiculosly small holes and crawl around like an eeedjooot for two hours. It was so much fun, but it was pretty scary.
Here are the two pictures that I at the moment can locate:
This is the beginning of the cave. Called wilsons cave by the way.
We walked up to this hole and everyone was like "Yeah ok, come on now where is the real entrance figsy?!" And he just laughed at us.
Haha, me among others looking very serious. This was one of the few times we were actually walking. We mainly crawled, using our arms to get us forward.
It had been raining for about three days straight before we went down into the cave so everything was really slippery. At one point we are sliding sideways on our bums sitting on this sort of hill type thing and Figsy says: "Whatever you do dont slide down here cause its a fifteen feet drop down there and you would probably die". Getting to know Figsy later, we understood that even though he was serious, he just likes to wind us up like that.
And last weekend we went rafting down the snowy river. Guess who was steering our boat? Figsy of course!
Famous last words from him include:
"Right so obviously down this rapid we are going to go backwards!" and us screaming "What? No please aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh"
"When we go down this rapid you have to be really careful because as we get down we are going to slam right in to a rock on the right side. Yeah, we have lost a few people that way"
And so on ..
But the rafting was the most fun I thought :)
We actually went down the snowy river yesterday aswell with some schoolkids, but that is a different story alltogether. Including me on the floor in the boat going down a rapid with a kid over me screaming: "WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIIEEE, WHY MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!" haha. Nice kid. Mind you he couldnt swim so he was probably right.
Otherwise what's new? Well it's apparently my birthday. Happy birthday to me. And we are going to sydney soon, and then I am flying to THAILAND YAY!!!!!!!!! So happy about that. Am going with Dounya :) :)
And after Thailand, I think I might just go home. I am sort of starting to miss my appartment and just having my own space. Travelling is fun, but it is going to be nice to get home soon.
Photos from the snowy river will be up shortly. Absolutley gorgeous place. Really nice day :)
weighing bulls and stuff :)
G'day everyone!
First of let me apologise for my lack of brain function as I wrote my latest blog in swedish, so sorry for that.
Right now me and my Bo are in Gelantipy wich is still in the state of Victoria but a lot further towards sydney. We are working at a bullfarm/horsebreeders/adventuretour-company in the "snowy mountain" region. It is quite spectacular up here, we are high up in the mountains and these last couple of days it's been like living in a Lord of the rings film, looking over the mountains covered in fog and clouds. And since it has been raining on us real bad the mountains look green and pretty, it's very nice.
So what we are doing now is called WWOOFING: it stands for willing workers on organic farms. We work for food and accomodation.
Today we have been working with the bulls, they are soooo big and strong! My job was to weigh the bulls and identify them with their eartags. It's pretty scary in the beginning, they can weigh up to 1200 kg when they are fullgrown and just standing by them, allthough they are in a cage thing is still pretty intense.
But it's such good fun, and for me it's really nice to finally feel usefull again. In melbourne just working at the weekends made the weeks go pretty slow.. I reckon this month is gonna go really fast!
So I will tell you more ahead about the work we will be doing here at karronda park.
Visit the website: karoondapark.com.au to see more about where I am right now!
Hejda melbi
15-LOVE
Otherwise we are still looking for farms. And so on.
Hope to get some pic's up soon :)
how is everyone doing? I miss everyone, except the wankers.
Hope dudels dudeli is having a great holiday!!!! <3

Life as a "carni" (carni meaning a person who works at a carnival)
So the job situation sucks. Will most likely leave melbourne in about two weeks and go woon some farms and stuff for free accom. and food instead. Good way to see australia.
:)
Work, sleep and sleep (?)
But I really couldn't be happier right now even if I tried :)
So right now we are living in a sharehouse in St kilda, just outside central melbourne. It is a really old house, quite cold when the weather is dark and rainy. But it's beautiful, and I love houses. It's actually really quite nice with wooden floors and really nice windows in coloured glass. And the people we are sharing the house with are ace.
This weekend I worked at a festival outside melbourne, in a terrible place called frankston. It was absolutley horrific. The people there were so rough and going home there were kids on the street asking me for money.. But otherwise it was ok. Good to have some sort of income. So next weekend I am going to work at another festival. Hopefully it is not located in Frankston.
Otherwise I am applying for work at stores right now. Hope something comes up soon, but I have good references so I think it should.
So that's my life at present. Want to try and work here in Melbourne for a couple of months before I go to Sydney, so I can get to the great barrier reef without having to sleep on the streets of Cairns. Hahah, just joking. But it would be good to get some money coming in. Yeah.
Keep in touch. And feel free to comment I don't know why no one does that anymore makes me sad.
Life in Melbourne at present
Hello everybody
Long time no see, sorry about that. I have been busy on the kissing front (haha) and looking for apartments in melbourne. So tonight I am going to look at an apartment in Richmond, quite close to the first backpackers I stayed at in Melbourne. I really hope we get the apartment because it's cheap and it looks really nice, but we would be quite lucky if it worked out because we haven't really been looking that hard or long, to be honest.
But if it works out tonight, if I can win this couple over with my charming ways and smiles, then we would have an apartment until the 26th of march here in melbourne.
So now, I really need a job! I am going to rewrite my CV today and then really start to look for work. It seems that the only types of jobs I can find at the moment are waitressing jobs, wich I am not really very excited about. Hope I can find something else ..
Stay tuned for more news tomorrow :)
Leaving for Melbourne
Here I go, out in to the big bad world again :)
The blog will be down for a few days while we get sorted out over in Melbourne with living etc.
